A critical part of my role at Zalaris focuses on helping HR market analysts and other influencers understand our core value proposition and strategic direction as well as our products and services. What I mean relates to their coverage of the company, that they understand our solutions, the differentiators, where we’re headed and how we compare to competitors.
At our Team Zalaris 2018 Kick Off in Oslo, this aspect of my responsibilities was among our focus areas as it pertains to what we collectively do across all operations. Everyone at Zalaris contributes to our reputation, and together with the rest of the management team, we connect with external experts to learn from them and vice versa.
The effect of influencers and advisors is undeniable, and I’m not speaking just about the benefits to Zalaris. It’s about ensuring these third parties review and accurately report about our offerings, so you, our customers, have independent perspective to support decision making.
Case in point: NelsonHall recognizing Zalaris for a second consecutive year as a top provider of cloud-based HR services. This highly respected market analyst also just published a new report that cites Zalaris as a leader in next-generation payroll services.
More Than What Meets the Eye – or Ears
Sure, we can tout all of what we do in lots of ways (and we do), but you’ll probably agree that independent views and validation make a profound difference. And this value runs even deeper than you may think.
By regularly communicating with influencers and advisors, we acquire extraordinary insight about the entire HR/HCM/payroll marketplace…what all players are doing and not doing, where we have opportunities for improvement and new ways to advance our value.
Strong rankings and commentary from the likes of NelsonHall certainly add to our confidence and the overall awareness of Zalaris throughout the world, but what matters most is our ability to listen. That begins with our customers, of course. We routinely gather this input both formally and informally. When combining what you have to say with the observations of external influencers and advisors, we gain a more well-rounded knowledge base to fuel our future.
Speeds & Feeds vs. Art & Science
HR is the type of profession that takes more than mere processing speeds and feeds to be successful, although transactional HR isn’t going to disappear. On the other hand, those bearings always deserve close consideration in conjunction with more strategic HR demands. By focusing on all things HR, Zalaris appropriately and effectively addresses corresponding challenges, including increasingly complex regulatory requirements such as GDPR right now.
So, whether you’re outsourcing payroll or other aspects of the HR function, the reality is you’re in our sweet spot. That’s not going to change. Where you’re looking to grow, innovate or maintain competitive edge is probably very different, despite the common denominator that people are going to chart the course and ultimately lead or affect the outcomes.
You can trust we’ll do our part by staying on top of the HR nuances as well as the big picture, and that we don’t do it alone. It’s a collaborative process with customers that also extends into our partnerships.
Regardless of what you have in mind, you’ll have peace of mind with us. And you don’t have to take our word for it. Although we may not be a household name, a growing number of HR BPO analysts and advisors are speaking up about Zalaris – and we hope you do, too.
